Established in 2009, 4orm is led by Stephen Coleman and Richard Gooden. Richard and Stephen met and worked together at penoyre and prasad llp on a number of health, housing and arts projects. Since then, Richard has concentrated on education and public sector projects, having been, most recently, an Assistant Head of Architecture at Hampshire County Council and a Vice-Chair of the CABE Schools Design Panel. Stephen continued as a consultant to Penoyre & Prasad whilst developing his own practice and becoming a founding Director of 4orm. He is also a visiting critic at Bath University Department of Architecture. The practice aims to create useful and beautiful buildings that support its clients’ aims and ambitions, fulfil user aspirations and are sustainable throughout their lifetime. 4orm is currently engaged in a variety of projects and has experience of education, housing, commercial and public projects of various scales.
